Career Goals

Hockey is what drives me to succeed in all aspects of life: school, work, and my personal life. I have, and will continue to push myself with the hope that the hard work I give day after day on and off the ice will open doors in my future.  I would like to contribute to the team effort in the regular season and playoffs at the Junior A level, and then advance to NCAA college hockey.

Hockey Strengths

Excellent vision of the ice, coverage, and play-making. Bursts with an above average level of intensity. A big presence in the defensive zone, Phil hits opponents hard, finishes his checks, and executes intense one-on-one coverage.  His biggest asset in the defensive zone is his ability to recover the puck and make an excellent first pass or play out of the zone.  Leads a quick and effective transition into the offensive zone.  Quarterbacks the play in the offensive zone, has a hard and accurate shot from the point and down low (won the most accurate shooting contest at the NVSHL all-star skills competition 2005).
